It was with much regret that I had to inform Peter Kennedy, Chairman of ART, that I would be leaving the Trust at the end of the year to take a position as Biologist to the Spey Foundation.

I have throroughly enjoyed my time in Ayrshire but when the opportunity of a job as biologist on the Spey arose it was one that I simply could not refuse. I was born in Grantown on Spey,  and returning there to work will fulfill a long held ambition.

Applying for the positon of biologist with Ayrshire Rivers Trust was a major decision and career change for me but I never regretted it for one second. I am indebted to the Chairman and Trustees of ART for the support and faith they have provided over the last seven years.
