The long awaited River Doon Fisherman’s map will soon be available. Harriet Ellis, a fantastic local artist, produced the map in consultation with Carlos van Heddegem and trust staff. The quality of the drawings and the level of detail required to fit in all the beat and pool names on the Doon will be appreciated by all.

The map will be available to purchase from the Trust via this website as soon as it is received from the printers. It will be an ideal Christmas or anytime gift for Doon fishers or anyone interested in the river.

The final proof was sent to the printers yesterday and we expect to receive the print around the 23rd Nov. I’ll put a post on the blog when it arrives. It is a superb map and would make a great gift to yourself or others.
