I’ve been informed that due to popular demand, an artificial freshet is planned for Monday on the Doon. Hopefully this will bring in a few fish from the bay but from what I’ve seen on the Met Office website this evening, there may be a natural spate on the way for this weekend. Tomorrow ‘s forecast doesn’t look good for Ayrshire nor our planned electrofishing surveys!
