The River Ayr District Salmon Fishery Board is keen to recruit new volunteer bailiffs to assist with all aspect of their work.

Bailiff’s patrol the river in teams offering fishery protection. They also maintain relationships with anglers, landowners  and other river users and assist with monitoring for pollution and invasive plant species. Overwinter they assist with salmon and sea trout stocking programmes.

All training and equipment is provided and training is delivered over the minter months.
