Yesterday Eadha Enterprises began the delivery of it’s Ayrshire Riparian Woodland Project in conjunction with ART. This is a fantastic project that teaches the pupils about the importance of riparian woodlands and the ecological interactions between rivers and watercourses.

Eadha will be working with a total of 10 schools over the coming weeks. ART are helping deliver the education side of the project, discussing the benefits of riparian woodlands with the pupils. The trees will be propagated over the summer months by the schools and will be out planted during the winter of 2017.

Peter Livingstone of Eadha Enterprises talks the pupils through the potting on process.

Peter talks the pupils through the mixture of compost, perlite and sand to help retain moisture around the roots.
