Although there hasn’t been much to report recently, that doesn’t mean things have ground to a halt. Yesterday the contractors poured a huge mortar slab which was setting up nicely today. The base to the fish pass extension was poured last week and today, the shuttering and reinforcing has been erected and tomorrow morning, the walls will be cast in place. By end of play tomorrow, the fish pass will have the flow restored and things are virtually complete (from a fishery perspective).

By tomorrow evening, this extension will be completed and water flow will be restored ready for a monsoon at the weekend.
