Emma Downie, our blue haired volunteer has been successful with her application to the World famous Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust to assist with re introducing Mountain Chicken Frogs in Montserrat . She leaves for the Caribbean next month and will be missed by us all. I’m sure she only got the position because she is a vegan and doesn’t eat chicken frogs. Apparently, I’m unreliably informed, they were wiped out because they were so delicious. Water voles just aren’t that tasty!
About to eat a water vole... a delicacy at about £25 a pop.
