VACANCY FOR TRUSTEES

Ayrshire Rivers Trust (www.ayrshireriverstrust.org) is the leading charity in the region concerned with the conservation and enhancement of the freshwater environment. It achieves this through a mixed programme of education; monitoring and advice; consultancy, and hands on conservation work. The Trust currently employs four dedicated and enthusiastic professionals based at Auchincruive, Ayr where meetings take place.

The Trust is seeking to appoint up to five new trustees to support the Trust in its important work. As a trustee you will be expected to attend meetings with the staff and trustees and contribute to strategic leadership and sound governance. A background in environmental or rural affairs, financial management, grant funding etc. would be useful but not essential. Applications are encouraged from a wide range of men and women with diverse backgrounds and skills from across Ayrshire.

Trustees act in a voluntary capacity and the role is unpaid.
