To all the Trusts across Scotland, Sean Dugan who is employed by Fisheries Management Scotland and manages the Scottish Fisheries Co-ordination Centre is well known for the tremendous work he does.

Sean is currently in Greenland as part of the sampling team who are gathering samples and compiling data from salmon catches from the Greenland subsistence fishery.

Sean is documenting his experiences from the project in two web journals. The first is a general blog, which will be updated from time to time. This can be viewed at: http://fms.scot/seans-greenland-blog/

The second journal is a more detailed daily diary – http://fms.scot/seans-greenland-diary-salmon-sampling/ this is a very interesting and detailed account of Sean’s observations. This will be updated every day or so. It is worth taking the time to look at Sean’s ongoing photo diary on flickr.
