As ever, working for the Trust requires many skills. Today our administrator Gordon, ripped out the old kitchen in our new offices and set about installing a new (ish) one that we were kindly given by Mauchline Ballochmyle Angling Club. They were making space in their new cabin at Belston Loch and had units going a begging. Thanks to Max and the Club and incidentally the loch remains open throughout the winter for a bit of rainbow fishing if anyone’s interested.

Tomorrow Gordon will finish of installing the worktop and connecting up the sink. Helen is back out decorating and so too might Bob Brown from Dalrymple who generously gave his time last Friday to help with painting. Peter Galloway will be back on Wednesday by which time I’m hoping most of the woodwork will be coated and we can start moving furniture in. So far we are on schedule to be in by the 24th. We have a CIRB meeting on the 22nd and I’d really like to see everyone seated around the board table at Gibbs Yard but that may be a tall order.
